God is: a Reflection on Psalm 42, Psalm 84, Proverbs 30:1-33, Philippians 3:1-11 and John 18:28-38

The God of the orthodox, apostolic and historic Christian faith is the living God. He is our help and our rock. God is our King and Our God; a sun and shield. Our God withholds nothing from those who walk uprightly. Every word of God proves true. Because of who God is everything is considered as loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ our Lord. God’s kingdom is not from this world. The Christian God is an amazing God.

Scripture texts are taken from the two-year daily lectionary cycle which follows the liturgical calendar and begins on the First Sunday of Advent.
