God is: a Reflection on Psalm 60, Psalm 148, Ezekiel 39:21-29, Philippians 4:10-20 and John 17:20-26

John promises that the Father is in the Son and the Son is in the Father and we (followers of Jesus) are in the Son. Wow! God lives Jesus’ life in and through us. God breaks down our defenses. He is the One who gives us victory. God is our creator and the creator of all of life; man, male and female, the animals, fish, birds, vegetation, the moon, stars, heaven, earth and all things. God is the One who judges iniquity. He restores our fortunes and that is not about money. God is jealous for his holy name. God is the great satisfier of our needs. We worship a great God.

Scripture texts are taken from the two-year daily lectionary cycle which follows the liturgical calendar and begins on the First Sunday of Advent.
