Words, Action and Integrity: a Reflection on Psalm 147, 1 Kings 17:17-24, 3 John 1-15 and John 4:46-

Believe the Word of the LORD and it will be well with your soul. Like Elijah, the word of the LORD in our mouths is truth. Think about it! Study, memorize and speak the Word of God. It is the Truth. I bank my hope on the promises of God. God’s understanding is beyond measure. Doing the Word is most important. Faith without works is dead. I desire to do good not evil. For it is in good that the city is blessed. Therein rests the reality of integrity. The integration of belief and action must transpire.

Scripture texts are taken from the two-year daily lectionary cycle which follows the liturgical calendar and begins on the First Sunday of Advent.
